A nostalgic treat of crispy, golden apple fries coated in cinnamon-sugar, made healthier with an air fryer.

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Caramel sauce or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep your apples: Slice the apples into thin wedges.
  2. Create your dipping station: Set up bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Coat your apple slices: Dip in flour, eggs, and then breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Air fry the apples for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Check for doneness; ensure apples are tender inside.
  7. Serve & enjoy with caramel or whipped cream.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute with almond flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs.
