Burrata Meatball Skillet

A cozy dish featuring juicy meatballs, creamy burrata, and marinara sauce, all cooked in one pan.

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine your ground beef (or turkey) with breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Mix everything together until just combined; don’t overmix.
  3. Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball.
  4. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the meatballs in batches and cook for about 6-8 minutes until browned on all sides.
  6. Pour in your marinara sauce, gently spooning it over the meatballs.
  7. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let them simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Tear the burrata into pieces and nestle it on top of the meatballs right before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh basil or parsley for garnish and consider pairing with garlic bread or a salad.
