Chicken Parmesan Casserole

A cozy and delicious casserole featuring juicy chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights!

  • 23 cups cooked, shredded or cubed Chicken Breast
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 8 oz Pasta (preferably penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Prep the chicken by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook in a skillet until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Layer the casserole starting with marinara sauce at the bottom, followed by pasta and chicken.
  5. Sprinkle a cup of mozzarella cheese over the top, followed by parmesan cheese.
  6. Mix together the eggs, salt, pepper, and remaining Italian seasoning. Pour this over the casserole.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
