Creamy High Protein Beef Pasta

A hearty and delicious pasta dish packed with protein, featuring a rich, creamy sauce and tender beef.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef (or turkey for a leaner option)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups pasta (any shape)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onions and minced garlic, and cook until onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. In comes the cream; slowly stir it in and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
  6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  7. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

This pasta dish reheats beautifully. You may need to add a splash of water when warming leftovers.
