Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken

A delicious fusion of crispy, juicy chicken pieces coated in a sweet and sticky honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs (or drumsticks)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep your chicken by rinsing and patting it dry.
  2. Create the coating by mixing flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  4. Fry the chicken in heated oil for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Make the honey garlic sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan.
  6. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until coated.
  7. Serve on a platter, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken before cooking; use a meat thermometer for doneness.
