Delicious Strawberry Sorbet

A refreshing strawberry sorbet bursting with sweetness, perfect for warm summer days.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Strawberries (4 cups, hulled and chopped)
  • Granulated Sugar (1 cup)
  • Lemon Juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Water (1/2 cup)
  • Optional: A pinch of salt and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your strawberries by removing the green tops. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Blend the marinated strawberries with remaining sugar, lemon juice, and water until smooth.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  4. Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker for 20-30 minutes or pour into a shallow dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes until fluffy.
  5. Enjoy the sorbet in chilled bowls, garnished with mint leaves.

Notes

For a creamier sorbet, consider adding coconut milk or Greek yogurt before blending. Adjust sweetness to taste at blending stage.
