Dump-and-Bake Chicken Alfredo

An easy, comforting chicken Alfredo recipe that combines creamy Alfredo sauce, tender chicken, and perfectly cooked penne pasta—all made in one dish.

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 12 oz penne
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1½ cups mozzarella, shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a large 9×13-inch baking dish by lightly greasing it.
  3. Combine cubed chicken, dry penne pasta, Alfredo sauce, and chicken broth in the dish and mix gently.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder over the mixture and stir. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Check that the chicken is cooked through and pasta is tender before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or spinach, or swap penne for gluten-free pasta for a healthier twist.
