Easy Watermelon Sorbet

A refreshing and simple watermelon sorbet perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Fresh Watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (or Honey)
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Choose the Right Watermelon: Pick a watermelon that feels heavier than it looks; it usually indicates juiciness.
  2. Cut the Watermelon: Slice your watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Discard the seeds as you go.
  3. Place the watermelon chunks into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  4. Add the sugar (or honey) and lemon juice. Blend for a few seconds to combine.
  5. Pour your sorbet mixture into a shallow dish, cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for at least 4-6 hours.
  6. After freezing, let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh mint or lime zest.

Notes

For added creativity, serve in hollowed-out watermelon bowls or pair with fresh berries.
