Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Pork Chops (1-inch thick, bone-in or boneless)
  • 45 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Fresh Rosemary or Thyme (or both)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Take the pork chops out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the pork chops.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes without moving them.
  5. Flip the chops over and add butter, minced garlic, and herbs to the skillet.
  6. Baste the chops with the melted garlic butter for flavor.
  7. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Add lemon juice over the chops and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.

Notes

Using bone-in chops can help with juiciness. Always let the pork rest after cooking.
