Garlic Butter Steak With Parmesan Cream Sauce

A luxurious Garlic Butter Steak drizzled with a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for any special occasion or a cozy dinner at home.

  • 2 Ribeye or Sirloin Steaks
  • 4 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your steak by letting it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then pat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the steak in a hot cast-iron skillet with oil for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  3. Add butter and garlic to the pan, basting the steak with the melted mixture.
  4. Rest the steak for at least 5 minutes after removing it from the heat.
  5. Make the sauce by adding heavy cream to the skillet, simmering for 2-3 minutes, then whisking in Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and drizzle with sauce. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a twist, add sautéed mushrooms to the sauce or use herbs in the garlic butter.
