Grinder Mac and Cheese

A comforting and creamy mac and cheese dish enhanced with deli meats and provolone cheese, perfect for a quick meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces macaroni
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • Deli meats of choice (turkey, ham, etc.)
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and cook macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add Milk: Slowly pour in milk while whisking until thickened (3-5 minutes).
  4. Cheese, Please!: Stir in provolone and cheddar until melted. Season to taste.
  5. Combine It All: Mix cooked pasta and diced deli meats with the cheese sauce.
  6. Bake (Optional): Transfer to a baking dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
