Hibiscus Peach White Iced Tea

A refreshing iced tea that combines the tangy flavor of hibiscus with the sweetness of ripe peaches, perfect for summer days.

  • 1.65 L Water (filtered)
  • 6 White Tea Bags (Pai Mu Tan or White Peony)
  • 3 tbsp Dried Hibiscus Flowers
  • 300 g Ripe Peaches (pitted and sliced)
  • 50 g White Sugar (optional)
  • 180 ml Additional Water
  • Ice
  • Extra Peach Slices & Dried Hibiscus Flowers (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Hibiscus and Tea: Bring 1.65 L of water to a boil, add dried hibiscus flowers, and steep for 10-15 minutes. Afterward, add the white tea bags and steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  2. Make the Sweet Syrup: In a small pot, combine 180 ml of water and 50 g of sugar. Heat until dissolved.
  3. Combine and Cool: Strain the tea mixture into a pitcher, stir in the sugar syrup, and add the peach slices.
  4. Refrigerate: Let the tea chill in the fridge for at least two hours to enhance the flavors.
  5. Serve in Style: Fill a glass with ice, pour in the tea, and garnish with extra peach slices and dried hibiscus flowers.

Notes

For a fizzy twist, use sparkling water. You can also experiment with other fruits or herbs for variations.
