Hibiscus-Pomegranate Iced Tea

A vibrant and refreshing iced tea that combines the tartness of hibiscus with the sweet depth of pomegranate.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup loose hibiscus tea (or 12 herbal tea bags)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice or nectar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water.
  2. Add your hibiscus tea and let it steep for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain out the hibiscus or remove the tea bags.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of pomegranate juice while the tea is still warm.
  5. Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water.
  6. Chill the tea in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a minty twist, add fresh mint leaves while steeping. Adjust sweetness by stirring in more pomegranate juice or honey.
