Protein Apple Cider Cheesecake Jars

Delightful, creamy apple cider cheesecake jars that celebrate the flavors of fall while being protein-packed and indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, plain and unsweetened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups apple cider for reduction
  • Graham cracker crumbs (for the crust)

Instructions

  1. Make the apple cider reduction by simmering 2 cups of apple cider in a small saucepan over medium heat until it reduces by half, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Prep the cheesecake mixture by combining Greek yogurt, cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a bowl, and blend until smooth.
  3. Combine the cooled apple cider reduction into the cheesecake mixture, reserving some for drizzling later.
  4. Prepare serving jars by adding 2-3 tablespoons of graham cracker crumbs for the crust.
  5. Layer the cheesecake mixture on top of the crumbs, filling each jar about three-quarters full.
  6. Chill the jars in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Garnish the jars with the remaining apple cider reduction, and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.

Notes

Make ahead for even better flavor development; serve with decorative apple slices or whipped cream for added flair.
