Italian Grinder Salad Sandwich

A flavor-packed Italian sandwich loaded with fresh veggies and deli meats, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Submarine Rolls or Hoagie Bread
  • Salami
  • Capicola or Ham
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Fresh Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Red Onion
  • Banana Peppers
  • Olives
  • Italian Dressing
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep the bread: Slice your submarine rolls or hoagie bread lengthwise, without cutting all the way through. Optionally toast for added crunch.
  2. Layer it up: Begin with a layer of salami covering the bottom half of the roll.
  3. Add capicola or ham for uniform coverage.
  4. Cheese, please! Lay thin slices of provolone cheese on top of the meats.
  5. Veggie party! Add lettuce, then slices of tomatoes, red onion, and banana peppers.
  6. Olive it up: Sprinkle olives (or capers) over the veggies.
  7. Dress it right: Drizzle Italian dressing generously over the fillings.
  8. Finishing touch: Season with salt and pepper, close the sandwich, and press gently.
  9. Slice and serve: Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters.
