Fun and Easy Pasta Bake for Kids

A delightful pasta bake that combines simple ingredients for a fun cooking experience with kids.

  • 1 cup of cooked pasta
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup of diced vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, or broccoli)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Prepare the pasta by boiling it according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. Sauté the diced vegetables in olive oil or butter over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, adding garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix the cooked pasta, sautéed veggies, and shredded cheese in a large bowl.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a lightly greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Add cooked chicken or beans for extra protein. For a gluten-free option, use chickpea or lentil pasta.
