Protein Cinnamon Apple Cheesecake Bark

A deliciously creamy and crunchy treat combining Greek yogurt, apples, and cinnamon, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt (plain)
  • 2 medium Apples (Fuji or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Almonds or Walnuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples: Wash and core the apples. Chop them into small pieces and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Mix the Greek Yogurt: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add the Apples and Cinnamon: Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon gently into the yogurt mixture.
  4. Prepare Your Baking Dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the Mixture: Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread it evenly. If using, sprinkle nuts on top.
  6. Freeze: Freeze for about 240 minutes or until completely set.
  7. Cut & Serve: Remove from the dish using parchment paper, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

Let the bark sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cutting for easier slicing.
