BBQ Chicken Pasta Salad

A creamy and zesty pasta salad that combines BBQ chicken with hearty ingredients for a flavorful dish that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 cup grilled chicken, chopped
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Grill the Chicken: If using fresh chicken, season with salt and pepper. Grill for about 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Chop into pieces.
  3. Prepare the Black Beans: Open, drain, and rinse the can of black beans well.
  4. Mix the Creamy Dressing: In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce and ranch dressing until smooth.
  5. Combine It All: In a large bowl, combine pasta, chicken, black beans, cheese, and dressing. Mix gently.
  6. Season: Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Chill (Optional): Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.

Notes

This salad can be made ahead of time—just add dressing before serving to keep it fresh.
