Dill Pickle Pasta Salad

A delightful twist on comfort food, combining tangy dill pickles with tender pasta for a refreshing salad perfect for summer picnics and cozy dinners.

  • 2 cups pasta (such as rotini or macaroni)
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar or any preferred type), cubed
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool the pasta under cold water.
  3. Chop the dill pickles into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Cube the cheese into smaller pieces.
  5. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, and dill in a bowl, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Combine the cooled pasta, chopped pickles, cubed cheese, and dressing in a large bowl, gently tossing to coat.
  7. Chill the salad in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
