Maple Dijon Salmon

A delightful salmon dish with the sweet touch of maple syrup and the tang of Dijon mustard, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon Fillets
  • 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  3. Marinate the Salmon: Place your salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow the salmon to marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Prepare for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and nestle the marinated salmon fillets onto the baking sheet.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Bake for around 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Glaze it Up: Turn on the broiler for the last 2 minutes of cooking for extra caramelization on top.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes and drizzle any remaining marinade from the baking sheet over the top.

Notes

You can substitute ingredients as needed, like swapping soy sauce for gluten-free options. Adjust the marinade to your taste preference.
