Strawberry Tiramisu

A delightful dessert combining classic tiramisu with fresh strawberries for a refreshing twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

  2. Wash and slice the strawberries: Rinse your strawberries and slice them into quarters.

  4. Soak the ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee quickly, ensuring they are flavorful yet maintain some structure.
  5. Layering time: In a dish or glasses, layer soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until you reach the top, finishing with mascarpone cream.
  7. Chill out: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Serve and dust: Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
