Chicken Shawarma Flatbread Pizza

A delightful fusion of Middle Eastern flavors and pizza, featuring spiced chicken, fresh veggies, and a crispy flatbread base.

Ingredients

  • Flatbread
  • Shawarma Chicken: marinated chicken breast or thighs
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic: fresh minced
  • Lemon Juice: freshly squeezed
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Red Onion
  • Feta Cheese
  • Tahini Sauce or Garlic Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the Shawarma Chicken by mixing olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and shawarma spice mix in a bowl.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade, coating well. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken in a heated skillet over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Prep your flatbread by brushing one side with olive oil and placing it on a baking sheet.
  6. Assemble the pizza by spreading tahini or garlic sauce on the flatbread, adding chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta cheese.
  7. Bake the assembled pizza in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  8. Garnish with extra sauce and fresh herbs before slicing into wedges.
  9. Enjoy with friends and family!

Notes

You can prepare the chicken a day in advance and keep all veggies ready. Freezing assembled pizza prior to baking is also recommended.
