Dump-and-Bake Chili Mac

A hearty dump-and-bake chili mac that combines the flavors of chili and creamy mac and cheese for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through.
  3. Mix the browned beef, elbow macaroni, chili beans, beef broth, and diced tomatoes in a large bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake covered with aluminum foil for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Uncover and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, then bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Stir the dish gently and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Top with extra cheese, green onions, or cilantro for serving.
