Smash Burger Flatbread

A fun twist on the classic smash burger, served on crispy flatbread topped with beef, cheese, and all your favorite condiments.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Flatbread
  • 80/20 Ground Beef
  • Pickles
  • American Cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Onions

Instructions

  1. Start by prepping your ingredients! Chop your onions, dice your pickles, and keep your cheese within reach.
  2. Heat your pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Once your pan is hot, grab your ground beef, and portion it into balls (about 3-4 ounces each). Place a ball onto the hot pan and smash it down quickly to create a thin patty. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season your patty with salt and pepper while it cooks. Flip the patty over and immediately top it with a slice of cheese.
  5. If you’re using store-bought flatbread, warm it in a separate skillet or on the grill for a minute or two until slightly crispy.
  6. Place the warm flatbread on a serving platter. Layer on your cheese-topped smash burger and top it generously with sliced pickles, onions, and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard.
  7. Cut your flatbread into pieces and serve!

Notes

Avoid adding condiments until just before serving to prevent sogginess.
