Smash Burger Garlic Bread Melt

A deliciously heartfelt creation combining a juicy burger patty with crispy garlic bread, oozing melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices Garlic Bread
  • 1 lb ground Beef (80/20)
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each garlic bread slice and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  2. Bake the slices butter-side up on a baking sheet for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Grind your ground beef with salt and pepper and form into thin patties around 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Place the patties in the pan and smash them gently to sear.
  5. Flip the patties after 3-4 minutes and immediately top each with a slice of cheddar, covering the skillet to help melt the cheese for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Assemble the melt by placing a cheesy patty between two slices of garlic bread, cheese side in.

Notes

Serve with crispy fries or a refreshing salad for a perfect meal.
