Incredibly Flavorful Smoked Salmon Bagel Dip

A rich and creamy dip that combines the flavors of smoked salmon and traditional bagel toppings, perfect for gatherings or cozy brunches.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (dill, chives, or parsley), chopped
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • Bagel crisps, for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by taking it out of the fridge and letting it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the base ingredients by beating the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the smoked salmon and red onion gently using a spatula.
  4. Add the capers, lemon zest, and fresh herbs, mixing thoroughly but gently.
  5. Season the dip by stirring in the everything bagel seasoning and adjusting flavors as needed.
  6. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to meld the flavors.
  7. Serve in a cute dish with bagel crisps arranged around it for dipping.

Notes

The dip gets better as it sits, making it perfect to prepare a day ahead. Adjust saltiness based on smoked salmon and capers.
