Dump-and-Bake Philly Cheesesteak Bake

A simple and delicious dump-and-bake dish that recreates the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with minimal effort.

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (8-10 minutes).
  3. Sauté sliced onions and bell peppers in the skillet for about 3-5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add mushrooms and sauté for another 3-5 minutes until they soften.
  5. Mix in Worcestershire sauce to the beef and veggie mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with provolone cheese slices.
  8. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes covered with foil, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
