Bacon Jam Ravioli Skillet

A delightful skillet dish combining tender ravioli with the rich flavors of bacon jam and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting meal any day of the week.

Ingredients

  • Ravioli (14-16 oz, fresh or frozen)
  • Bacon Jam (1/2 cup)
  • Parmesan Cheese (1/4 cup, freshly grated)
  • Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Fresh Herbs (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your water by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the ravioli in boiling water, fresh for 3-4 minutes or frozen for 6-8 minutes, then remove with a slotted spoon.
  3. Drain the ravioli gently and set aside.
  4. Heat the skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Sauté the drained ravioli for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Add the bacon jam, coating the ravioli evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over the ravioli, stirring gently to melt.
  8. Serve topped with fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, consider using mushroom jam instead of bacon jam. This dish can also be served with a side salad for freshness.
