  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the gnocchi: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add taco seasoning: Sprinkle in taco seasoning and mix well, adding about half a cup of water to create a saucy consistency.
  4. Combine gnocchi and beef: Gently fold the cooked gnocchi into the seasoned beef sauce, mixing until well combined.
  5. Cheesy topping time: Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, cover, and let it melt for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve with optional toppings and enjoy your meal!
