Ham & Potato Casserole

A comforting ham and potato casserole that brings back warm family memories and makes the perfect meal for gatherings.

  • 3 cups diced ham
  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish and grease it lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Slice the potatoes thinly—around 1/8 inch thick—and place them in a bowl of cold water.
  4. Layer the bottom of your dish with a layer of potatoes, then add the diced ham, drizzling with cream of celery soup mixed with milk, followed by Swiss cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. For variations, consider adding vegetables like broccoli or spices for a kick.
