One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley or Basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, saving a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté the garlic in the same pot with butter over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  3. Add the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer to integrate flavors.
  4. Create the creamy sauce by stirring in the heavy cream and allowing it to bubble gently for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Cheese in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
