Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Potatoes

A comforting and hearty meal featuring tender steak bites and baby potatoes cooked in flavorful garlic butter.

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cubed
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Cube the sirloin steak and halve the baby potatoes. Set aside the chopped onion.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic butter: Melt 2 tablespoons of garlic butter in a pan, add chopped onion, and sauté until translucent (3-4 minutes).
  3. Layer your ingredients in the slow cooker: Add halved potatoes, sautéed onions, and cubed steak. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on top.
  4. Add the remaining garlic butter over the top.
  5. Cook low and slow: Cover and set the slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Finishing touches: Once cooked, check the doneness and stir before serving with fresh parsley on top.

Notes

This dish tastes even better the next day. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
