A vibrant and delicious smoothie combining ripe papaya, creamy coconut milk, and zesty ginger, perfect for a refreshing start to your day.

  • 1 cup chopped papaya
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/23/4 cup light coconut milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 scoop plant-based collagen powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Start by gathering all your ingredients. Peel and chop your papaya into small chunks—about one cup should do. Peel and slice your banana, too.
  2. Add to the blender: Toss the chopped papaya, frozen banana, and ginger into your blender first.
  3. Sprinkle on the superfoods: Now, sprinkle in the chia seeds, turmeric, hemp seeds, and protein powder next.
  4. Pour the coconut milk: Add your coconut milk next! Start with 1/2 cup.
  5. Blend away!: Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds to a minute or until everything is smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste test time: After blending, take a quick taste! Adjust sweetness with more honey or thickness with additional coconut milk, if needed.
  7. Pour and enjoy: Once you achieve your desired flavor and texture, pour the smoothie into your favorite glass.

Notes

Feel free to replace ingredients based on what you have on hand; for example, mango instead of papaya or almond milk instead of coconut milk. Enjoy with a garnish of hemp seeds or a slice of fresh fruit.
