Ingredients

Scale
  • Store-bought cinnamon rolls (or homemade dough)
  • 2 cups fresh ripe peaches, diced (or canned peaches, drained)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (or water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the peaches by washing, peeling, and dicing fresh ones, or draining canned peaches.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Mix diced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a tablespoon of melted butter in a bowl.
  5. Spread the remaining melted butter over the rolled-out dough.
  6. Evenly sprinkle the peach mixture over the top, dust with cinnamon, and drizzle with vanilla extract.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log from one long edge.
  8. Slice the roll into even pieces, about 1.5 inches thick.
  9. Bake in a greased baking dish for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Whisk icing sugar with milk or water for the glaze while rolls bake.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls once they are out of the oven.

Notes
