Ultimate White Pizza with Prosciutto & Hot Honey

A delightful white pizza topped with creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, elegant prosciutto, and a spicy drizzle of hot honey.

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, drained and torn into pieces
  • 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp hot honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.
  2. Prepare your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into your desired shape.
  3. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over your rolled-out dough, leaving a little room at the edges for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the torn mozzarella over the ricotta.
  5. Drape the thinly sliced prosciutto over the cheese.
  6. Drizzle a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over your topped pizza.
  7. Carefully transfer the pizza to your hot pizza stone or a pizza sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Drizzle hot honey over the top after baking.
  10. Top with freshly torn basil leaves, slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

For a veggie twist, add roasted cherry tomatoes or spinach. Try incorporating minced garlic and oregano into the ricotta for extra flavor.
