Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Thighs (or Breasts)
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 inch fresh Ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 8 oz Noodles (your choice)
  • 3 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger. Slice the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade. Let marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with sesame oil. Add marinated chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Add the Sauce: Pour the leftover marinade over the cooked chicken and let bubble for a couple of minutes.
  5. Combine Noodles and Chicken: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  6. Taste and Adjust: Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with extra soy sauce or sugar as needed.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, swap chicken for tofu. Can also add vegetables or spices for extra flavor.
