Strawberry Honey Hibiscus Iced Tea

A refreshing and vibrant iced tea made with strawberries, hibiscus flowers, and honey, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Strawberries (2 cups, hulled and sliced)
  • Dried Hibiscus Flowers (1 cup)
  • Sweet Honey (1/2 cup, or to taste)
  • Fresh Mint Leaves (1/4 cup, packed)
  • Lime (1, juiced)
  • Water (8 cups)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Steep Hibiscus Flowers: Remove the boiling water from heat and add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let them steep for about 15 minutes, then strain them out.
  3. Blend the Sweetness: Mash the fresh strawberries with a fork and add them to the warm hibiscus tea.
  4. Add Honey and Lime: Stir in the sweet honey and lime juice while the mixture is warm.
  5. Cool It Down: Add 4 cups of cold water to the mixture and chill in the fridge or add ice.
  6. Add Mint: Just before serving, add the fresh mint leaves.
  7. Serve It Up: Pour over ice and garnish with strawberries and mint.

Notes

You can substitute fruits and herbs to personalize the flavor, and the tea can be made in advance for added convenience.
