Strawberry-Kiwi Frozen Mojitos

A refreshing twist on the classic mojito, combining the sweet acidity of strawberries and kiwis with invigorating mint and rum. Perfect for summer gatherings!

  • 1 ½ cups chopped strawberries, frozen
  • 1 ½ cups chopped kiwi, frozen
  • 3 tablespoons simple syrup, divided
  • 8 fresh mint leaves, divided
  • 3 ounces rum, divided
  • 3 ½ cups crushed ice, divided
  • Strawberry and kiwi slices, to garnish
  • Mint leaves, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Blend the fruit: In your blender, toss in the frozen strawberries and kiwi. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the sweetener: Add 1 tablespoon of simple syrup and blend briefly.
  3. Incorporate the mint and rum: Add 4 mint leaves and 1.5 ounces of rum, then blend until combined.
  4. Prepare your crushing ice: Add 1.5 cups of crushed ice to the blender and blend until slushy.
  5. Serve it up: Pour the mixture into a tall glass, filling it halfway.
  6. Repeat for the second batch: Rinse out your blender and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Final mix: Stir both batches together and garnish.

Notes

Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and slices of strawberries and kiwis for an appealing presentation.
