Refreshing Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

A bubbly, fruity refresher made with fresh strawberries, mint, and lime, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
  • 1012 leaves Fresh mint (gently muddled)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice (about 1 medium lime)
  • 12 tbsp Simple syrup (or honey, adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 cup Crushed ice
  • 0.5 cup Sparkling water (or club soda; unflavored)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract (optional)
  • 23 slices Lime (for garnish)
  • 1 sprig Fresh mint (for garnish)
  • 12 slices Strawberry (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Create the Strawberry Mint Base: In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, add your hulled and halved strawberries along with 10–12 gently muddled mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down to release the berries’ juices and the mint’s essential oils.
  2. Add Fresh Lime Juice and Simple Syrup: Squeeze the juice of one medium lime over the strawberry-mint mixture, ensuring you catch any seeds. Now, add the 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup (or honey) based on your sweetness preference.
  3. Incorporate Crushed Ice: Add about half a cup of crushed ice to the glass, giving it a lovely frosty pit to hold all that goodness.
  4. Pour in the Sparkling Water: Gently pour in half a cup of sparkling water (or club soda). Be careful not to pour too aggressively!
  5. Mix It Up: Grab a long spoon or a straw and give your mocktail a gentle stir.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish your drink with slices of lime, a sprig of mint, and a slice or two of strawberry.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and serve immediately to maintain the fizz.
