Refreshing Strawberry Iced Tea

A delightful summer sipper featuring fresh strawberries and iced tea, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups brewed tea (black or green)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew your tea. Boil 4 cups of water, add tea bags, steep black tea for 5 minutes or green tea for 3 minutes, then cool.
  2. Prepare your strawberries. Rinse and slice them into halves or quarters.
  3. Combine strawberries with sugar in a bowl and let sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix everything together by adding lemon juice to the cooled tea, then add the macerated strawberries.
  5. Chill out by placing the tea in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Serve in style by pouring the tea over ice and adding garnish.

Notes

Add fresh mint leaves for a hint of freshness or use ice cubes made from strawberry tea to keep your drink cool without dilution.
