Sweet Chili Meatball Naan

A flavorful blend of tender meatballs topped with sweet chili sauce, served on warm naan for a perfect sharing dish.

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, turkey, or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Herbs (parsley or oregano) to taste
  • Naan (or pita bread/tortillas)
  • Sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs in a bowl.
  3. Roll mixture into uniform meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Wrap naan in foil and heat in the oven during the last 5-10 minutes of meatball cooking.
  6. Toss meatballs in sweet chili sauce until well-coated.
  7. Assemble naan with meatballs on top, drizzle with more sweet chili sauce, and garnish with cilantro or green onions.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a unique twist, add some red pepper flakes for extra heat or garlic butter on the naan for flavor.
