Dump-and-Bake Taco Casserole

An easy and comforting family favorite packed with taco flavors, this Dump-and-Bake Taco Casserole is perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups Mexican cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes.
  3. Combine the browned beef, instant rice, beef broth, taco seasoning, and salsa in a mixing bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Add the Mexican cheese blend on top and bake for another 10–15 minutes until melted.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Garnish with fresh cilantro, sour cream, or sliced jalapeños. Serve with tortilla chips or a green salad.
