Ham and Pickle Pasta Salad

A delightful and creamy pasta salad bringing together savory ham and tangy pickles, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 8 oz rotini or shells pasta
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and run under cold water.
  2. Mix the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add pasta cooking water if needed.
  3. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, adjusting seasonings to taste.
  4. Combine the cooled pasta, diced ham, and chopped dill pickles into the creamy base and gently fold.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with a gentle stir, garnished with fresh dill if desired.
