  • 1 can canned salmon, drained and flaked
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Prep your workspace: Make sure your area is clean and all ingredients are ready.
  2. Combine the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the canned salmon, eggs, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Form the patties: Shape about 1/4 cup of the mixture into patties about ½ inch thick.
  4. Heat the pan: Drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot.
  5. Cook the patties: Fry the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  6. Drain excess oil: Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any extra oil.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Pair with tzatziki or tahini sauce and a wedge of lemon.
