A cozy and comforting pasta bake featuring frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 24 frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish and lightly grease it.
  3. Layer the uncooked penne pasta evenly in the dish.
  4. Scatter the frozen meatballs on top of the pasta.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the pasta and meatballs.
  6. Add the water to the dish, ensuring everything is well distributed.
  7. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the top.
  8. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese generously over the dish.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 35 minutes.
  10. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
